Mystery Man:

By GAVIN MCNETT
A new documentary revives an old controversy: Was actor and landowner William Shakespeare merely a front man for Christopher Marlowe, the flamboyant gay genius and shadowy Elizabethan spy? (Full Story . . .)
Film students may remember Michael Rubbo from the influential 1974 documentary Waiting for Fidel, which chronicled the exploits of former Newfoundland premier Joey Smallwood and local media mogul Geoff Stirling as they waited for an audience with Castro.

Two men meet at a party. The big one puts out his hand and booms: "I'm J. Peter Throgmorton. That's me." The small, sallow one puts out his hand and mumbles: "I'm Lycurgus Threep. That isn't me."
Michael Rubbo is a Canadian who makes Threeplike documentaries. His theme, as he goes from place to place, is the impossibility of getting at very much reality in any of them.
